True to its name, SPEEDFLOOR® wasted no time in proving itself as a global brand in the world of offsite and fast-build construction. Since our first project in 1997, we have remained true to our commitment to smart technology.
Globally proven but locally built, our flooring systems remain 100% NZ made, giving us full oversight of the whole supply chain. This has helped us build an enviable reputation for quality, dimensionally accurate flooring systems delivered fast and efficiently.
1997
With full-scale structural and fire testing complete, the first SPEEDFLOOR® suspended concrete floor is installed in a new project in downtown Auckland.
2003
SPEEDFLOOR® is acquired from the Sullivan Haddon Group. Franchised and installers are established throughout New Zealand.
2004
SPEEDFLOOR® Australia begins manufacturing from a new plant in Melbourne.
2005
The first SPEEDFLOOR® franchise arrives in the USA. The SPEEDFLOOR® Suspended Concrete Floor system is now being used in Ireland, Canada, USA Mainland, Hawaii, Tahiti and Samoa.
2010
Howick Ltd becomes a shareholder and the SPEEDFLOOR® Steel Joist system and Transportable Concrete Floor join the range.
2012
India’s Jindal Power and Steel are appointed the exclusive supplier of SPEEDFLOOR® products in India.
2018
The new SPEEDFLOOR® machine with advanced improvements replaces the previous model.
Present Day...
With over one million meters of steel joist sections manufactured to date, SPEEDFLOOR® has established the reputation of delivering the floor systems that others look up to.
